No statistics are collected from solar installations that are less than 1 megawatt electricity, so there may be less solar energy installations in a number of other countries.
The major disadvantages of solar energy are:
* The amount of sunlight that comes when the earth is not constant. It depends on the location, time of day, the time of the year and the weather.
* Because the sun do not deliver that much energy in one place at one time, a large surface necessary for the collection of energy on a recovery rate.
